Refund policy

 

At Tarania, we aim to provide quality products and a smooth shopping experience. Please read the policy carefully before placing an order.

 

1. Eligibility for Return/Exchange

 

You can request a return or exchange within 5 days of delivery only if:

  • The product has a genuine defect, damage, or manufacturing fault.
  • Tags, packaging, and the product are in original, unused condition.
  • You provide clear photos/video of the issue for verification.

We do not accept returns based on:

  • Personal dislike, change of mind, or size issues.
  • Color variation due to lighting, photography, or screen resolution.
  • Natural imperfections in bandhani or hand-dyed items (thread holes, dye marks).
  • Customized products of any kind.

 

2. One-Time Return/Exchange Only

If your return/exchange is approved, it will be processed once per order. No repeated exchanges.

 

3. Approval & Verification

All return/exchange requests must be verified by our team.
We may ask for photos or additional details before approval.

Products must be sent to our return office only after approval.

 

4. Damage During Transit

If the product is damaged during shipping due to courier handling or external transit issues:

  • Tarania is not liable, and
  • Such products cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

5. Combo Purchases

If you return a single item from a combo:

Refund is based on the individual product price, not the combo discount price.
(Example: Combo 999 for 3 items → one item price 399 → refund = 999 – 399 = 600)

 

6. Refunds

We follow a no-refund policy unless explicitly authorized.

  • Refunds are NOT provided, except in rare approved cases.
  • Exchange is allowed up to the product value.
  • Shipping charges, if any, are not refundable.

 

7. Non-Acceptance of Late Returns

No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 5 days of receiving the order.

 

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled within 4 hours of placing the order.

Some orders may be processed immediately, and cancellation may not be possible.

If cancelled within the allowed time:

  • Amount (if prepaid) is refunded back to the original payment method.
  • Bank processing times may vary.

 

9. Mandatory Conditions for Return Acceptance

Returns will be accepted only if:

  • Tags are intact.
  • Product is unused and unwashed.
  • Packaging is original.

Missing tags or used items will be rejected.

 

10. Self-Return Policy (5-Day Process)

We follow a Self Return System for eligible issues.

Return Window:

  • You have 5 days from the date of delivery to complete the return process.

Step-by-step:

  1. Inform us within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. After approval, we send you the return address.
  3. You must share the tracking details within the next 48 hours.
  4. Once we receive the parcel, your refund/exchange will be processed within 24 hours.

Example Timeline

  • Order delivered: 5th
  • Inform us by: 7th (night)
  • Share tracking details by: 9th
  • Parcel received: 15th
  • Refund issued: 16th

 

11. Return Charges

If you still choose to return a product without a major issue,
you must bear a ₹150 return shipping charge as per self-return policy.

 

12. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued only after the returned product passes quality check.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Refund timelines depend on your payment method.
